Event Details
This is a running and walking event in aid of the Thomas Theyer Foundation.  For more details about them and what they do please follow this link

Registration is at the Old Hall and the start/finish is at the Paper Mill (next to the Old Hall), Whitehough, Chinley. The event takes in the summits of South Head, Chinley Churn (Big Stone rather than the trig point) and Eccles Pike with the participants choosing the best route between them based on the map provided. Approximate distance 9.5 miles depending on which route you choose
The race venue is at the Paper Mill, Whitehough, Chinley, High Peak, SK23 6EJ. There will be toilets and refreshments - the Paper Mill are putting on a pasta meal for all participants, a veggie option will be available. Note: No responsibility will be taken for personal possessions left at the venue.
There will be checkpoints at the summits of South Head, Chinley Churn and Eccles Pike - you can visit the summits in any order.

Registration opens at 07.30
Walkers can start between 08.15 and 09.15, runners can start between 09.00 and 10.00.  The checkpoints will close at 12.30
Pick up race numbers on the day.
Race Limit - 200
Minimum Age - 16 for runners, families welcome for walking

Refund Policy

Refunds & Cancellations

Individual refunds will only ever be issued at the Race Organiser’s discretion. For a refund to be considered, full details must be emailed to us for consideration within a reasonable time frame of the event. 
We do not refund booking fees that were applied on top of the base Entry fee paid. The fees are Third Party charges and as such we do not receive them as part of the race regisitration transaction.
 
We hold the rights to amend/cancel any aspect of an event at late notice. Cancellation will only ever be a last resort for us, and we will always take direction on event cancellations from government agencies (e.g. the Met Office for weather related incidents) and the National Governing Body concerned, in addition to our assessment of the local conditions.
In the event of any cancellation, if it possible to reschedule the event to a different date in the same calendar year then all entries will be automatically transferred to the new date. Deferrals and transfers will be permitted for the rescheduled event.
 
Where an event cannot be rescheduled, committed contractors will be paid and remaining funds will be offered as partial refunds.
